The Red Bee integrates a new generation of lassoTM full underground containers for urban solid waste management, designed to meet smart cities' sustainability needs. The new Red Bee surprises by its compact format and its integration with intelligent systems, keeping focus on its characteristics of elegance, durability and minimal visual impact.

The Red Bee is the smallest lassoTM underground container, so it occupies even less outdoor space.

The Red Bee is manufactured according to the most demanding European standards and is compatible with access control systems and filling level monitoring systems, enabling the implementation of Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) charging systems and the optimization of the collection process.

lassoTM full underground containers are characterized by their high resistance and low maintenance, being designed for intensive use even in extreme environments, for a long life period.

A

Quick System

By single ring, double ring (**) or Kinshoffer system(**), incorporated in the deposition column.

Deposition Column

red bee: in hot galvanized steel with textured polyurethane paint or high impact resistant elastomer resin coating; includes stainless steel drum unit, wich can be single or double type (used in PAYT systems).

Ground Lids

Olive Leaf: in steel with non-slip finish.

Pavement: for the same finishing as the surroundings.

Ground Ring

In hot dip galvanized steel. It has conection to rain water; optional for a retractible safety barrier.

Extraction System

Flexible:

Standard bag: in polypropylene; it can use a disposable bag for undifferentiated waste; reinforced with high resistance PVC layer for glass waste.

MasterbagTM (Patent EP2194005 A1): in polypropylene and PVC, it is a watertight element for waste collection that allows retention of leachate.

Rígid:

Steel container: in hot dip galvanized steel, bottom opening with simgle or double door; allows leachate retention; fire classification is M0.

Well

Monobloc well in concrete C40/50, designed to resist impulsion forces. It has an innovative integrated system for an easy and quick leachate removal.

 

Integated system for quick and easy leachate removal

The concrete tank is provided with a conical bottom that directs leachate into a drain tank which is connected to an in-built wall pipe, allowing leachate vacuuming, making the cleaning operation extremly quick and effective.

Leachate drainage (optional)

Only for containers with flexible bag; prevents contact between collection bag and posible leachates.

Signaletic panels

Front and top signaletic panels are available in thermo lacquered aluminium with silkscreen printing or high resistance vinyl with UV lamination and digital printing.

Red Bee container installation

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

01. Dig a pit with a depth of 2,0m (3m3) or 2,9m (5m3), and a width of 2,45m..
02.
Form a well compacted base and stabilize the bottom.
03. Place the set well + ground ring inside the pit ensuring its vertical positioning.
04. Fill the empty spaces around the container.
05. Connect the ground ring to a rainwater sewer system and finish the surrounding area.
06. Place the set deposition column + extraction system in the installed well.
